The Braves got themselves a win as they beat the Blue Jays 5-3. Mentioned in an earlier post today, Jair Jurrjens left the game early as a precautionary measure. He had discomfort in his right side.
- Jurrjens went one inning with one strikeout.
- Peter Moylan of old? He pitched two scoreless innings giving up a hit and striking out two.
- Scott Proctor does it again, this time allowing three hits, two runs (one earned) in one inning. He had a throwing error on top of his horrible performance.
- Juan Abreu who I haven't mentioned at all in game reviews, had himself a nice spring. He pitched one scoreless inning with a strike out.
- Jairo Asencio is another whom I didn't mention of. He too quietly had a nice spring. He pitched a scoreless inning.
- Dan Uggla finally hit his first home run of spring, a three run homer it was.
Tomorrow the Braves have a split squad going again. Rodrigo Lopez will face the Phillies while Brandon Beachy will face the Tigers.
