The Astros visited the Braves today and lost 3-5. A decent game overall, and a very good one by the bullpen. In other news, Tommy Hanson got his scheduled start pushed back a few days until Wednesday due to discomfort in his back. Doesn't look to be serious.
- Derek Lowe pitched 5.1 innings giving up 7 hits, 3 earned runs, walking one and striking out five. Still a good game but not as dominant as he has been. He is human after all.
- The bullpen was tremendous giving up three hits, zero runs, and striking out seven in 3.2 innings. No walks were allowed either. Notables were Moylan, Sherrill and O'Flaherty.
- Nate McLouth was 1-4 with walk and a run scored.
- Is this a robot with Chipper Jones' skin on? Chipper was 3 for 3 today. He is hitting .420 for spring training so far. Please save some of this for the season hoss.
- Wilkin Ramirez deserves a spot on the team. He was 1-4 with two RBI and a stolen base. He is hitting .303 and has four SB for the spring.
* Kenshin Kawakami will get the nod for tomorrow's game against the NY Mets. He also has pledged $50,000 for Japan relief since that is his home country.
